Zeus

Our 1 year old puppy Zeus was hit by a pick up truck and died on Wednesday. He ran in front of the car. The driver couldn't avoid him. Zeus got up after being hit and ran home. He died soon after. He was a sweet, lovable pup and as the pictures show a big boy.
Our family will miss him.

Tea Cups

I love tea cups! The different shapes and designs are wonderful.
These tea cups were used for a bridal shower. There were 5 hostess and 2 of the ladies generously allowed us to use them. Some of the cups have been passed down from grandmother to mother and so on.
Here is Stephanie, the beautiful bride to be! I have known her since she was a young girl. It was a pleasure to be able to help host her shower.

Sky Watch Friday

This was my view of the sky last Friday at my son, Taylor's baseball game. It was a great night for baseball and this nice sky added to our enjoyment of the game. They won 11-0 and my son hit a home run! Fun night.
Please check out other sky watchers at the link. Have a great day!!!

Dinner at the River

The Comal River
Having dinner after a day of tubin' on the Comal River

Tori and some friends spent the day on the Comal River tubin' and getting some sun. I sure was jealous having to be at work. :)
Our dog, Joey came with me after I got off. He is already to go have some fun! LOL
I brought pizza to the river and we hung out awhile longer.
It was a nice relaxing dinner, and I only had 2 pieces!
I am enjoying the nice spring weather. I hope you are too.

Selling Cookbooks at the Taste of Home Cooking Show

Gift Basket donated to the Taste of Home Cooking Show in Seguin, TX.
It was a fun cooking show to attend. They prepare receipes from thier magazine which I have gotten for several years now.

Just a few of the wonderful recipes from our cookbook.
We had free samples for everyone at the cooking show to try.

Having some fun before the show starts.

We are selling cookbooks for Marion High School Project Graduation. It is a party given to the graduation seniors by some of the senior parents. We want them to have a safe place to go on their graduation night. We have swimming and basketball. We provide food, music, games and a gift for each senior. The cookbook has recipes from Marion facility and seniors. We have 300 recipes in the cookbook and we are selling them for $10.00. All funds go directly to project graduation. If you would like one, just let me know. They are wonderful cookbooks.
